Which games got dates at the ID@Xbox October 2026 showcase?

According to the recap Xbox Wire published the same day, the show covered both ends of the "indie" label: horror titles from CRITICAL REFLEX and ZA/UM's new project on one side, a remaster of a twenty-year-old licensed platformer on the other. The 2026 releases are:

• Arctic Eggs (CRITICAL REFLEX): Xbox Series X|S, released October 20.
• Scramble Knights Online: Xbox Series X|S and PC, October 26; day one on Game Pass (as a Game Preview title).

• A Game About Digging a Hole Together: Xbox Series X|S, PC and Game Pass, December 4.
• Paper Shredder: Xbox Series X|S and PC, "this winter"; Play Anywhere supported.

The 2027 calendar is busy too: Croak (March, day one on Game Pass), Magenta Down, Mr. Magpie's Harmless Card Game (Game Pass), VANRAN and Waveling Island early in the year; Mr. Records in spring; Chronoscript: The Endless End and Drill Keeper in summer; Rustown on June 30; Love is a Roguelite in fall; and Graytail in November 2027. No, I'm Not a Human only got "2027", while Red Kiss was announced as "coming soon" and day one on Game Pass, with no date.

What does Shrek 2 Remastered offer, and what does it cost?

Published by Aspyr, Shrek 2 Remastered is a refreshed version of the game that accompanied the 2004 film the same year. According to the store descriptions, the visuals have been moved to 4K and the cutscenes redone; a Photo Mode and a Cheat Mode that unlocks cheats have been added. You can play alone or with up to four players: on the same screen, online, or a mix of both. You can switch between heroes at any time.

While Xbox's recap only lists Series X|S, the Steam, PlayStation Store and Nintendo pages list PC, PS5, Switch and Switch 2 versions with the same date. The US PlayStation Store lists $29.99, with a 10% PS Plus discount until release. On Steam the pre-order discount runs until November 17; on Xbox, Game Pass members get 20% off and non-members 10% until November 9. Regional prices vary by store, and the price shown in your region applies. The Steam page lists Windows 11 (64-bit) and 15 GB of free space as requirements; on Switch 2 the file size is about 6.5 GB.
