How to play

  1. 1 Four cards start on the table: three face down, one face up. If that face-up card is a Jack it is buried, the rest of the deck is reshuffled, and a new top is drawn until it is not a Jack. Each player is dealt four cards and plays one per turn.
  2. 2 Match the top card’s rank to capture the whole pile, including hidden opening cards once they are taken.
  3. 3 A Jack captures any non-empty pile. A Jack on an empty table stays as the new top card and does not capture.
  4. 4 If the pile is exactly one card and you match its rank, that is a pişti: 10 points, or 20 for Jack on Jack. A Jack taking a lone non-Jack is an ordinary capture, not a pişti.
  5. 5 Score aces (1), jacks (1), 2♣ (2), 10♦ (3), plus 3 for strictly more cards (a tie gets nobody the 3). First unique side to 101 wins. Practice vs bots from the game page; online needs an account.

About

Pişti is the Turkish capture table: two seats, or partners across in 2v2, racing to 101. Four cards open — three face down, one up (a Jack on top is buried and redrawn). Match the top rank to take the pile, or play a Jack to sweep any non-empty stack. A lone card of the same rank is a pişti (10, or 20 Jack-on-Jack). Aces, Jacks, 2♣ and 10♦ score, plus 3 for most cards. Practice vs bots from the game page; online play needs an account.
