Seasons are how GAMEAREA keeps competition fresh instead of letting one early leader dominate the leaderboard forever.
What resets and what doesn't
Each season runs for a fixed window with its own ranked ladder. When a season ends, ladder standings reset for the new season — but your account-level XP, achievements, and lifetime stats carry forward permanently.
Finals week
The final stretch of a season locks in placements before rewards are distributed, so late-season swings still matter but the leaderboard can't be gamed in the last few minutes.
How rewards are earned
Reward tiers are based on your final rank at the close of the season — the higher you climb, the better the tier. Full tier breakdowns are listed in the player app under Seasons.
